Who is JDN Publications?
JDN Christian Publications
How Everything Started?
JDN began in the heart of God after I had the opportunity to publish my first book with a well-known publishing house. The work was basically all mine; it was only with God's help that I could write and edit my own book. I had to pay thousands of dollars just for them to print it. Then, when I wanted to buy my own books from them, they were so inaccessible to me at the time since I didn't have the monetary resources, which frustrated me because I couldn't afford my own books. While praying, I asked God to give me an idea not only to publish my own books but also those of people who didn't have the financial resources to do so.
Not long after this prayer, during one of my university assignments while I was getting certified as an entrepreneur, I had to create a business plan for a company we might someday have. It had always been my dream to have my own publishing house, so I seized the opportunity, but I didn't know what God had in store.
As I was naming my business venture, I thought about calling it ELI Publications, which are my initials. However, upon reflection, I told myself, "But my name is not more important than Jesus', whom I want to honor and adore. After all, His name is above every name." So I started playing with Jesus's initials until I came up with JDN, and it sounded good when pronounced in English. So I said, "Perfect, JDN Christian Publications," as we originally have it in our documents. We shortened it for promotional reasons, because such a long name isn't convenient, so now we always use JDN Publications.
Two weeks after finishing my business plan, which my teacher also gave me an excellent grade for and was impressed by, God opened a door for me with a local organization that helped people start their own businesses. According to doctors, I can't work in the secular world due to asthma (although it bothers me in cold weather and allergy seasons, I continue to declare my healing in the name of Jesus), so I was eligible for this program.
When I presented my business plan to the gentleman who assisted me, a very kind Hispanic man, he told me, "My supervisor doesn't approve anything for anyone so quickly, but when she saw your business plan, so detailed and specific, she immediately approved it." They gave me the first $3,000.00, with which we bought the essentials we needed, and that's how we started.
During our official launch of JDN, we made a public proclamation, which we signed with witnesses. This will be the backbone upon which this Christian ministry or company will be founded. I share it with you here, along with our mission and vision.
Who Are We at JDN Publications?
We are a purely Christian company with values rooted in the Infallible Word of God, and as such, JDN intends to honor its name and its owner, in whose heart the vision of JDN Publications was born, to publish literature that honors His name. The initials JDN stand for the primary owner of this company: JDN = Jesus of Nazareth.
In this way, we aim to honor Him with our form of governance, our practices, and all the literature we publish, in accordance with the Holy Apostolic Scriptures, which promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ and no other. We believe in the version originally taught to us by our ancestors, without adding or subtracting from it.
Mission
The mission of JDN Publications is to provide excellent services and products with integrity, motivating new Christian authors to share their faith in Jesus, sharing their experiences, knowledge, and inspirations received from God with the entire world.
Vision
Our vision is to establish a company that honors God through excellent books and services to our authors and clients, seeking to become the largest Christian self-publishing house in the world.
Proclamation
Understanding that today, more than ever we are seeing how many companies are excluding God from their agenda and others are being intimidated by activist groups who do not share their beliefs, we at JDN Publications want to ensure that our employees understand that we are not ashamed of who we are and whom we serve.
PROCLAMATION OF JDN Publications
Whereas We Recognize That The Company JDN Publications Was Born And Founded Primarily In The Heart Of God Today, September Fourteenth, In The Year Two Thousand Twelve Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, At Forty-Five Broadway Street, In The City Of Taunton, Massachusetts, We Dedicate This Company To God First And Foremost, And Before All These Witnesses, Making This Proclamation Public, Which Shall Serve As A Rudder For Future Generations As Long As Said Company Shall Live, If Christ Has Not Yet Returned.
Therefore, We Proclaim That JDN Publications Shall Always Uphold These Five Principles:
I. We Proclaim That We Shall Always Put God First, Honoring Him And Keeping His Precepts, Commandments, And Statutes. "Jesus Said To Him, 'You Shall Love The Lord Your God With All Your Heart, And With All Your Soul, And With All Your Mind.' This Is The First And Great Commandment." Matthew 22:37-38
II. We Proclaim That We Shall Put Our Immediate Families First, Maintaining A Healthy Balance Between Work, Family, And Ministry. "So Husbands Ought To Love Their Own Wives As Their Own Bodies. He Who Loves His Own Wife Loves Himself." Ephesians 5:8
III. We Proclaim That We Shall Put The Well-being Of Our Clients First Before A Business Transaction, Treating Them With Honesty And Transparency. "And The Second Is Like It: 'You Shall Love Your Neighbor As Yourself.'" Matthew 22:39
IV. We Proclaim That We Shall Work With A Spirit Of Excellence, Giving Our Best, Publishing Works That Honor The Name Of Our Lord Jesus Christ And His Principles. "...For Those Who Honor Me I Will Honor, And Those Who Despise Me Shall Be Lightly Esteemed." 1 Samuel 2:30
V. We Proclaim That In Our Company We Shall At All Times Apply The Golden Rule That Jesus Taught His Followers. "Therefore, Whatever You Want Men To Do To You, Do Also To Them, For This Is The Law And The Prophets." Matthew 7:12 (NKJV)
Signed by: Edna L. Isaac, Francisco J. Isaac, Rev. Eva Amaro, & Maranyelis Cortijo, and witnessed by all the congregations present.
In fact, this Manifesto reflects what our Christian life should reflect: the way we live in our homes and with our immediate families. According to the Holy Scriptures, this should be our lifestyle: to obey, follow the commandments, and the principles that God has established in His Word.
Therefore, JDN Publications is expected to operate in accordance with the principles established in this Proclamation. We at JDN have accepted the challenge because it was first born in the heart of God. Therefore, we will strive to do our best to honor our Lord Jesus Christ.
Overall, in these times of confusion in which we are living, it is very important to discover and begin to walk in the plan and purpose that God has for each of us. That is exactly what JDN Publications is doing right now, and we hope that, with God's help, everything He has promised will be fulfilled exactly as He has put it in our hearts. We do not want to leave this world without having fully achieved our purpose.
